Greetings Citizens,My name is still Richard F. Yates (whether you like it or not.)
As difficult as this may be to believe, I'm a videogame streaming individual now (again...remember when I was playing MINECRAFT??? Maybe I'll link to those videos some day...) But, for real, folks, I recorded my first live thing on TWITCH a few minutes ago. I don't know how long the videos stay up, but maybe you can still watch it!!! (I can't figure out how to download it, for some reason...Probably cuz I'm old.)
[Note from 19 June 2024: I have finally figured out how to download the videos that I stream live on Twitch with my phone. This is lucky because the videos only stay up for SEVEN DAYS before a ghostly little girl climbs out of the server and EATS them. You'll notice, perhaps, the black space two images down where the link to my live stream USED to be!!! What I've been doing so far is recording the streams to the Twitch platform, downloading them onto my laptop, then uploading the vids to my YOOOTOOOBS page for archival purposes. I don't think any of my live game streams have been particularly entertaining, yet, but I'm a fan of PROCESS, so you'll get a chance to see how I progress and improve (or don't) over the course of my experiment with live streaming... Fun?]Experimental TWITCH stream! I'm famous now, I guess...
I've been messing around online a bit today, testing and tweaking and fookin' with various social media sites. You probably already saw my Twitch experiment, so I don't need to go on about that one, but I'm seriously bothered that I can't figure out how to "SAVE" the video for posterity! (If anyone knows how, please get back to me!!!)
In addition, I posted new ART (a notebook drawing that I colored digitally) to my OBJKT profile! I put a pricetag on it, but that's really not the point. I just sharing my art, and I have a TON of it shared there! Worth a look, if you ask me... As long as I continue to sell enough work to keep uploading there, I'll keep using that site!
I also uploaded a video to YooooTooobs, but I later unlisted it, cuz it had some family imagery in it that don't need to be public. I might keep using YoooTooobs from time to time, but since it's owned by the GOOG, I'm pretty sure it's evil. (The DUMB kind of evil...) I WATCH stuff on YoooTooobs most days, but that doesn't mean I want to give them more money... (Sorry. I might be rambling...)
