My name is Richard F. Yates and I am called (mostly by me) the "Holy Fool." (If you've seen DEATH MASK OF THE NINJA, aka: Shaolin Prince), you'll know what I'm talking about... If not...get on that!)
For reasons known only to my Spirit Guides, it has been decided that I shall do another "ONE POST - EACH DAY - FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH" for May on HIVE! (I'll be posting primarily thru PEAKD, with maybe one of two from ECENCY, if I'm out of town and don't have access to my laptop!)
Now that we've set some ground-rules, let's get on with it!!! Lately, I've been a bit LAX (not L.A. - X) in my ONLINE SHARING. I'm still making stuff by the millions in the MEAT WORLD, but I'm busy hanging with grandkids, working on an up-coming Author Festival, and trying not to go TOO-FAR-GONE to be of use to the humans...
My grandkids are now almost SIX!!! (Felicity)
and just a hair over ONE!!! (Riot)
That writers' event that I'm doing is at the Longview Public Library on May 17th (or whatever day near there is a Saturday), and beyond the printed "books" that I'm bringing, I've been working on a shit-ton (technical measurement) of ZINES and self-made, one-of-a-kind "books" (for lack of a better term...) I'm a horrible capitalist, cuz where most folks would probably be hoping to SELL a bunch of books at this thing, I'm hoping to show as many people as possible how EASY it is to MAKE books, even if they're just little and weird and not-very-commercial looking... (The books, not the people...although, who am I to judge? Just a fool...) This is the type of thing I've been making a BUNCH of lately (like more than 30 different designs...)
So that's pretty much it! I'm going to make an effort to post a new BLIP on Hive each day for the month of May, gonna keep sharing art on various platforms (Objkt, Rodeo, RedBubble, NEOCITITES [I love my NEOCITIES page], Patreon, and so on...), and I'll also be busy in the "REAL WORLD" conjuring abstract / Surreal / Dada / nonsense for the peeps to laugh at! [AT or WITH, I don't care, as long as there's LAUGHING!!!]
